NEXT: Newtown Hub Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
NEXT: Newtown Hub provides public careers and applicant accounts, alongside employee engagement, events, announcements, rewards, surveys, notifications, support conversations, and related admin operations for authorized employees. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.
Who This App Is For
Anyone exploring our job openings can browse Careers and create an applicant account. Employee features are restricted to authorized employees and administrators. An applicant account does not grant employee access. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Information We Collect
- Applicant account and recruitment details, including verified email, name, phone number, city, selected opening, résumé, cover note, application status, and privacy consent time.
- Account and profile details, including employee ID, name, preferred name, role, department, campaign, account status, and an optional profile photo.
- App activity needed to provide features, such as announcements viewed, event RSVPs, attendance claims, survey submissions, reward redemptions, support tickets, and NEXT Points activity.
- If you opt in to the Wellness step challenge, daily step totals read from Apple Health or Android Health Connect, the fitness provider used, device timezone, consent time, and last sync time. NEXT does not request routes, workouts, heart rate, or other health or medical data for this feature.
- Optional Facebook connection information, including your Facebook account ID and name, encrypted access credentials, granted permissions, and Facebook post links you submit for verification.
- Notification data, including in-app notifications, push notification preferences, push subscription details, and delivery or open status.
- Device and technical data needed for security, troubleshooting, analytics, and reliable operation, such as browser or device type, app version, timestamps, request metadata, and diagnostic logs.
- Content you submit in the app, including survey answers, support messages, feedback, and uploaded or admin-managed content where applicable.
How We Use Information
- Create and secure applicant accounts, send sign-in emails, review job applications, and share recruitment updates.
- Create and secure employee accounts.
- Provide employee communications, events, attendance validation, surveys, rewards, support conversations, and admin reporting.
- Run the optional Wellness step challenge, including daily-goal progress, streaks, and weekly and monthly leaderboards.
- Send in-app and push notifications you have enabled.
- Verify that an eligible Facebook post link belongs to the Facebook account you connected when a Facebook share program is enabled.
- Prevent misuse, investigate errors, maintain audit records, and enforce internal program rules.
- Improve app reliability, support operations, and user experience.
Applicant Accounts and Recruitment
Authorized recruitment administrators can review submitted applications and private résumés. We use email providers to deliver one-time sign-in links. Applicant information is retained while your account exists unless you delete it. You can update your profile, withdraw an active application, or permanently delete your applicant account from My applications.
Account deletion removes your applicant profile, applications, uploaded résumés, and sign-in sessions from the active service. Provider backups may retain deleted data until those backups expire; limited security records may be retained to prevent abuse. A separate employee account is unaffected. Read the applicant privacy notice for details.
Push Notifications
If you allow push notifications, NEXT stores the push subscription details required to deliver notifications to your device. You can manage notification preferences in the app settings, and you can disable notifications through your browser or device settings.
Wellness Step Challenge
Joining the step challenge is optional and requires your express consent. On iPhone, NEXT reads daily step totals from Apple Health. On Android, NEXT reads daily step totals from Health Connect. Health data is read on your device, and NEXT uploads only the daily aggregate step count needed for the challenge.
The challenge is public inside NEXT: all signed-in users can see each participant's name, profile photo, department, rank, and weekly or monthly step totals. NEXT does not make this leaderboard available to the general public outside the authenticated app.
You can disconnect at any time from the Wellness page. Disconnecting stops future syncs and removes your synced daily step totals and challenge connection from NEXT. You can separately review or revoke the device permission in Apple Health or Health Connect.
Facebook Connection
Connecting Facebook is optional. If you connect it, NEXT uses Meta's services to confirm your Facebook identity and verify whether a post link you submit belongs to that account. NEXT does not publish posts or shares to Facebook on your behalf.
Facebook access credentials are encrypted at rest. You may disconnect Facebook from your profile at any time; disconnecting removes the saved connection from NEXT but does not delete historical verification or points records that must be retained for audit and fraud-prevention purposes.
Sharing and Disclosure
Information may be visible to authorized administrators and support staff as needed to operate the app, respond to requests, manage employee programs, and produce internal reports. We may also use trusted service providers that host, secure, process, or deliver the app, such as authentication, database, storage, and notification infrastructure.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the app and users, or to comply with an authorized organizational request.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain audit records, support employee program administration, comply with legal or organizational obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary by data type and internal policy.
Security
NEXT uses access controls, authenticated sessions, role-based administration, and hosted infrastructure controls to help protect information. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should protect their account credentials and report suspected misuse promptly.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and organizational policy, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information. You may also manage preferred name, password, profile photo, notification settings, and related app preferences where those controls are available in the app. You can also disconnect an optional Facebook connection from your profile or leave the Wellness step challenge and remove its synced totals.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact the NEXT administrator responsible for your account, submit a request through the in-app support channel, or email resultscx.next@gmail.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app, legal requirements, or organizational practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
